I first rode Liberty's Helix the first year it came out and straight away it was put on my list of favourite skis.
Volkl AC50 (2010)
The AC50's are big, powerful all mountain skis for big, powerful skiers that would rather not ski the front sides or groomers. Lots of ?float? and stable is built in but medium to long radius turns are obviously the default...
Volkl AC10 (2010)
Looking at the dimensions (72mm waist) does not suggest the agility that the Volkl AC10 brings to the table (or the snow).
Volkl Grizzly (2010)
Experts only - the Grizzly is a big mountain WEAPON and like Volkl's Tigershark, the dial really works.
Volkl Attiva Estrella (2010)
The Volkl Attiva Estrella has the same sidecut (almost) as Volkl's Attiva Sol with a slightly slimmer profile make the new Estrella shine in quick turns and agility. while maintaining a stable and solid feel under foot.
Volkl Attiva Sol (2010)
Nice easy feel with a balanced flex and performance side cut make the Attiva Sol almost effortless to control. Precise turns at any radius boost the confidence level simply because Volkl's Sol does what you ask it to, and does...
Volkl Attiva Fuego (2010)
Volkl's Attiva Fuego skis look great and ski just as well. Lively skis with a penchant for speed and aggressive carving. Edge-grip is among the best and turn initiation is top notch, while still being easy to control (stay centered,...
Salomon XW Tornado Ti (2010)
The XM Tornado Ti is one interesting ski! With a 78mm waist and a radius of 16.3m at 173cm, the new Tornado Ti is an expert ski with plenty of guts and grip. Initiation is quicker and shorter arcs are...
Salomon XW Storm (2010)
The new Salomon XW Storm is a true performance ski that delivers SPEED and EDGE GRIP while still FUN easy to ski, especially to initiate.
Buy vs. Lease for Kids Skis
Looking for some opinions on buy vs. lease
For the past 3 seasons we bought skis/boots for our twins, I was hoping to get 2 years out of last years gear but I don't think that is going to happen due to the fact that they are growing like weeds.
Anyone lease gear for their kids? If so any suggestions, in NH or MA of where to go to get good stuff? Looking at girls twin tips.
