ERIC WILLETT WINS THE WINTER X-GAMES EUROPE SLOPESTYLE!
Tignes, France – March 12 2010 - O’Neill team rider Eric Willett has won Gold at the inaugural Winter X Games Europe Slopestyle, taking victory ahead of a host of international talent.
The 22-year-old American from Breckenridge, Colorado won gold with 91 points ahead of American Sage Kotsenburg and Slovenian Marko Grilc.
Kaitlyn Farrington Wins European X-Games Halfpipe
Sequim, WA – March 12, 2010 – 20-year-old Gnu rider and Sun Valley, Idaho- native Kaitlyn Farrington won her first X-Games Halfpipe gold medal at the inaugural Winter X Games Europe in Tignes, France.
Farrington surprised everyone by upsetting reigning Olympic Halfpipe Gold Medalist Torah Bright by a full two points. Using her Gnu C2 Power Banana, Kaitlyn linked together an impressive run featuring a backside 540, stalefish air, backside 900, frontside 720, and cab 720.

Huge Turnout for Final East Coast Stop of Red Bull Butter Cup Series
Holiday Valley, NY – March 11, 2010 – Finishing on what proved to be a competitive region, the Red Bull Butter Cup series made it’s last East Coast stop this weekend. Holiday Valley Ski Resort hosted the series and its custom-made butter pads on a beautiful 40-degree bluebird day. The rider roster was nearly maxed out at 96 athletes and more than 1,000 spectators came out to catch a glimpse of the action.

LOS ANGELES, CA - FUEL TV, the only network dedicated to the lifestyle of action sports, will be hosting the live webcast from the Ride Shakedown on March 13, 2010 starting at 5:00pm ET/2:00pm PT. The Ride Shakedown is Canada’s largest and most popular snowboard event and will debut in the U.S. at Washington State’s Summit-at-Snoqualmie (Summit West), March 12-13, 2010.

Brand to Make Donation to the Chill Foundation and Support Chill’s Annual Pizza Party

Spring Snowstorm Sweeps through Colorado
All Member Resorts Receive Fresh Powder, Ready For Spring Break
Denver, CO, March 9, 2010 – Spring break travelers to Colorado this week will be welcomed by events, deals and double digit amounts of fresh snow. In the last 48 hours, snow accumulation in the mountains has reached as much as 18 inches at resorts such as Monarch and Wolf Creek.
Other resorts with two-day, double-digit snow totals include Telluride, Powderhorn and Silverton each with 15 inches. Copper Mountain and Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort are measuring 10 inches.
Eight inches of fresh snow fell at Arapahoe Basin and Snowmass over the last two days. Just over half-a-foot of winter white coated Winter Park while six inches piled up at Aspen, Aspen Highlands, Loveland and Ski Cooper.
